a little trip to Chicago, Illinois (USA) to visit another member of MMP
We think nothing of desecrating fine art in the name of civic pride. Here is the Picasso statue (wearing a White Sox cap) in the Daley Center . Next to it is the Halloween Haunted House and City Hall is the columned building on the far left.
Even the statues were Sox fans. Elrond was with me when these were taken. Don't worry Wendy, he had his little seat belt on
O. K. This is a horrible picture but I sent it anyway. It's 4:45 a.m. and we're standing in the doorway of the building that was used as an observation post on the frosty morning of February 14, 1929.
Looking south at the city skyline. The tall building on Elrond's left is the John Hancock. Big John as it's known locally
Looking north toward the downtown area. We were much closer than it seems in the picture. The black edifice to the left of Master Elrond is the Sears Tower . Up until a few years ago, it held the distinction as the world's tallest building.
While visiting the eagles at Lincoln Park Zoo, Elrond and I were surprised to meet Gandalf the Gray- M125.
